This proactive post contains a dire warning. This is what you will see each night as you try to sleep if you photograph and/or media post pictures of the sick me.
Why “keepsake” pictures of tired, listless patients with matted hair, pale skin, dark-circled eyes, and tubes everywhere? Rude at best.

Praying for healing and renewal.
ReplyDeleteSecondary Roads, I'm currently okay. This is a "tongue-in-cheek" pro-active warning. Someone in my SS class visits members of our church and SS class while they are in hospitals and rehab/nursing homes (post-surgery and during illness) and posts pictures he takes of them online and also sends them out on email listserves. Also, many people on Facebook share pictures of family members at their lowest points. I totally do not understand this. If someone takes a selfie or agrees, that is one thing - posting or sending out a picture without the person's knowledge is quite another. Just sayin'.
